How can the build cost £0?
Because hosting is where our economics live. Each site costs us pennies a month to run on shared edge infrastructure, so the £5 covers everything with room to spare. We'd rather earn £5 a month for years than £2,000 once.
Is £5 a month really everything?
For hosting, yes: servers, SSL, backups, monitoring and small content edits. The only optional extra is a custom domain, which we sell at cost plus a small markup with the exact price quoted first.
What happens if I cancel?
Your direct debit stops, we send you an archive of your content and images, and if you own a domain we point it wherever you ask. De-orbiting is free and drama-free.
Do you build web apps or shops?
No — we build fast, beautiful brochure sites of up to five pages. That focus is why we can do it free and host it for £5. If you need a shop or an app, we'll say so straight away.
Who actually builds the site?
A small UK-based design crew. You'll deal with the same person from briefing to launch, and the same team handles your edits afterwards.
